My current 2D work explores natural forms, through a variety of media. I am inspired by water, rocks, trees and gardens. I am fascinated by textile techniques, particularly batik and drawing with machine stitch, expressed with a painterly sensibility. Other paintings and drawings use close observation and symbolism to explore objects and people. The ageing process is tackled in a long term series of self portraits (reflections).

My 3D work with recycled materials is mainly concerned with climate change.
